Edward J. Troy
Edward earned a Bachelor's Degree from Fordham University and a Juris Doctorate degree from Fordham University School of Law. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1988 and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York in 1995.
He began his career at Chubb Group of Insurance as an insurance defense attorney, and then moved onto two private firms before starting his own partnership, Curan & Troy, P.C. After ten years there, Edward joined the firm of Troy & Troy, P.C. before starting his own practice in 2007.
Alexander earned a Bachelor's Degree from Fordham University and a Juris Doctorate from New York University. He was admitted to the New York State Bar, SDNY and EDNY in 1978. He was admitted to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in 1987. Alexander has vast experience in admiralty, insurance defense, personal injury, and civil rights litigation. He has over 3o years experience as a trial attorney and coverage counsel.
Paul M. Murphy, Of CounselPaul earned a Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Old Westbury and a Juris Doctorate from St. John's University School of Law. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1998. He was a New York City Police Department officer and a New York City Firefighter. In his legal career, he has handled personal injury cases as well as insurance defense.
Patrick J. Morganelli, Associate
Patrick earned a Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Stony Brook and a Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University School of Law. He was admitted to the New York State Bar, SDNY and EDNY in 1979. He was admitted to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in 1991 He was admitted to the United States Supreme Court in 1999. Patrick has over 30 years experience in all aspects of litigation, trial and appeals, including personal injury, insurance defense, and criminal defense. He also has experience in real estate law.He is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
Maureen Troy, Associate
Maureen earned a Bachelor's Degree from Molloy College and a Juris Doctorate from St. John's University School of Law. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1992. She was employed as a claims representative and claims attorney for insurance companies and risk management companies before beginning her own practice.
Michelle Abola, Associate
Michelle earned a Bachelor's Degree from Boston College and a Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2004. She has experience in all aspects of insurance defense, including premises liabilty, auto claims (bodily injury and no-fault), and negligence cases. She is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Assocation.
